PIPE THREADING TOOL
 

A Pipe Threading Tool with a specific shape, usually consisting of a long handle and two adjustable jaws. The inner sides of the two jaws have beveled or serrated patterns to provide additional friction for effective gripping of the pipe. The pipe slug is designed to accommodate a variety of pipe sizes and allow the operator to apply a large torque.

Adjusting the jaws: By adjusting the distance between the jaws, it can accommodate pipes or cylindrical objects of different diameters. The operator achieves this by turning the adjusting nut of the slug or sliding the handle.

Clamping the pipe: The jaws of the slug are placed on the pipe or fitting. When pressure is applied, the jaws are in close contact with the pipe through their serrated inner sides, effectively clamping the pipe.
